Lovely escape to the seaside. Apartment is a great size and very comfy. The beach is fab; midnight strolling gives an awesome view of the stars. A sea-view apartment is now on our wish list.

Auriol once said it best: "Cleaning the apartment on my own one February afternoon, I opened the visitor's book to read what our last visitors had written." What follows are pages from that book. We've transcribed them so they're easy to read. The originals are further down the page, in our guests' own handwriting.
We just loved the mornings: long leisurely breakfasts, reading the papers, working our way through a cafetiere of coffee, and all with that magnificent panoramic view. We just loved the days: visiting one beautiful bay after another, great cliff-top walks, pretty Mumbles town interspersed with a lovely selection of cafes. We just loved the evenings: never thought there would be such a variety of great places to eat, tried Lebanese to Italian and everything in between. We just loved coming back to such a lovely well thought out apartment, where everything is set to make you chill out and relax. Thank you Auriol and Hugh for getting it so right!

Hugh and Auriol, thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment. It has been like living a dream. We are now in trouble as no other holiday accommodation will ever match up. You have made this place so cosy, welcoming and homely. Watching the ever-changing view is pure entertainment in itself. We are already looking at dates to book in again. Thank you so much.

Where do I start. Thinking a little break in a winter half-term would be nice, I was so wrong. It has been fantastic. Weather has been a blessing and we have explored every corner of the Gower, but no sight is more beautiful than looking out of the lounge window. I was blown away at the high standard of self-catering you offer. From families with small children to rambling fanatics you cater for everyone, and have thought of everything. You want for nothing here. Our children have been unplugged from their iPads and learnt to play, explore, and realise what nature offers and the beauty we live in. This alone is priceless. We don't want to leave and will definitely be back. All our friends are jealous of the picture we have sent. Thank you for sharing your home.

Apartment is just so homely and comfortable, view is amazing, so close to Mumbles, Worms Head etc. We didn't want to go home. Thank you so much.

Many thanks for agreeing to swap the dates at such short notice. One of our best holidays ever. The view is fantastic, weather was even better. Hope to come back every year.

Another fantastic week at Caswell Bay kayaking and surfing. Weather was on-off showers with strong winds most of the week, which made for great waves. We took surfing lessons this year and both now think we are pros. The apartment was great as always, clean, tidy and well equipped, with a view that you could never tire of. Thanks Hugh and Auriol.

Sitting and watching the waves crash and roll was bliss. Surfers trying to ride the crest of them was hilarious. We were so comfortable at all times, finding it hard to venture out to walk along Gower's stunning scenery. We shall return - how can we not?

A huge thank you to Auriol and Hugh. We've had an amazing weekend break seeing the Gower coast and family and friends. Our little girl Emma, ten months, has loved waking up in the morning and waving to the bay. Will definitely be back, but for longer next time.

The crumbling old visitor's book is still on the dining table. We'd love you to add your handwriting to it.
